Getting your real estate license opens the door to some very rewarding opportunities! Work full-time, part-time or even just in your spare time. You can be your own boss with a flexible schedule and unlimited earning power. So how do you get started? HPW Real Estate School will show you the way!

Who needs a license?

Any person or business entity who transacts real estate business for compensation as an agent for another person must first obtain a real estate license issued by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC).

What are the license qualification requirements?

To qualify for a real estate broker license, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria.
  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Be a US citizen, a non-citizen national or a qualified alien under federal law;
  • Have a social security number;
  • Pass the real estate license examination; and
  • Satisfy the Commission that they possess the requisite character to be entitled to licensure.

How do I get my license?

If you are interested in getting your NC real estate license, you will begin with a 75-Hour Broker Pre-Licensing Course. You must successfully complete this course and pass the state exam in order to get your NC real estate license.
